Google Tests a New Giving App

May 16, 2013 Posted by Jessica Shofler in Donations, Fundraising, News

Do you think Google can change the world one $1 donation at a time? It’s trying to do just that with One Today, its new mobile application that enables people to contribute $1 to any highlighted charitable project of their choice.

The app features a different project every day and allows donors to share their favorite projects with their friends on social media. In fact, you can’t donate more than $1 a day, so if you want a project to get more money you have to convince your friends to match your donation.

Want to get your nonprofit’s project featured on the app? The charities featured on One Today are those that participate in the Google for Nonprofits program. Join here.
