May 13, 2014 Posted by Jessica Shofler in Employment Matters, Nonprofits

Ever feeEmployment Lawsl like your employees are acting more like your children? The Landegger Baron Law Group is here to help. During the law firm’s free workshops on May 23, 2014 at the Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City and on May 30, 2014 at the Camarillo Courtyard by Marriott, the presenters will tackle:

  • Issues during the first 90 days of employment;
  • Effective disciplinary procedures: oral and written warnings; and
  • Effective termination techniques: suspensions, terminations and proper investigation procedures when a complaint of harassment is made against an employee.

If you think that you need not attend because you work at a nonprofit, think again. Although many nonprofits like to think they aren’t subject to employment laws, this is simply not the case. Indeed, the most lawsuits filed against nonprofits concern employment laws.

Go here to register for either the Studio City or Camarillo workshop.
