Our Client in Congress

November 27, 2018 Posted by Arthur Rieman in Congress, News, Non-profits, Nonprofits

Katie Hill, former Executive Director of our client, PATH, was elected to Congress earlier this month. She will be representing California’s 25th District. The district serves Katie’s home town of Santa Clarita and other communities in northern Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. We had the pleasure of working with and getting to know Katie when she worked at PATH. She left that job to run for Congress.

We are incredibly proud of Katie and know she will be a superb Congressperson for her constituents. If she serves in the same manner she ran her campaign (no “going negative” and no corporate PAC money), she will make everyone in her district proud.

PATH – People Assisting the Homeless – is California’s largest nongovernmental agency serving the homeless. Katie’s experience at PATH is indicative of the effective Congressperson she will be. She was instrumental in PATH’s recent growth. Perhaps more relevant, in her last year at PATH, she helped persuade Los Angeles voters to support the winning ballot measure that now funds homeless services.

Katie will be sworn into office on January 3.
